Working with Foster + Partners on the interior design for the residential apartments was always a pleasure for us, helping overcome design details that the client, Finchatton, were set upon having can sometimes be a challenge, however when all parties have a design goal and a desire to achieve a level of perfection on a project, getting to the end result was easy.
“It’s always in the details” a saying that we use time and again, because the client sees that effort and attention to those details in which we take an effort to achieve. For this project the old Whiteley logo has been re-created in the backplate on the entrance doors, a “nod” the the history of the building and an acknowledgement to the importance that this building had within the area of London it served, for many years.
